The smart alternative for resin beginners

TARTLER now also offers all dosing and mixing systems with a Light Eco control system

Under the motto ‘Keep it simple’, TARTLER has developed a lean control system that can be used for all 2K dosing, mixing and application machines in its current portfolio. The system manufacturer is thus paving the way for a quick and cost-effective entry into automated synthetic resin processing. The new Light Eco control system offers all the essential basic functions and does not place high demands on the machine operator.

With its modular system solutions for mixing, dosing and applying liquid and paste-like synthetic resins, TARTLER has been one of the leading German system manufacturers in plastics technology for many years. In close cooperation with renowned material manufacturers and focussing on the process engineering requirements of various industries, the company develops and manufactures highly automated 1K and 2K dosing and mixing systems for polyurethane, epoxy resin and silicone processing. Its core competences include the realisation of customised special solutions for processing synthetic resins with very large differences in viscosity or in extreme mixing ratios. In most cases, these systems have complex control systems that enable very precise process control and are optimally adapted to the respective application conditions. Some of these are expert systems for highly qualified operators. However, in order to provide newcomers to the field of mechanical dosing and mixing technology with a cost-effective and quick introduction to industrial synthetic resin processing, TARTLER is now offering a greatly simplified control unit that covers all the important basic functions and does not require extensive training. It is called Light Eco and is available for all systems in the Nodopur, Nodopox and Tardosil series.

All key functions

‘Our new Light Eco control unit is designed so that it can be integrated as basic equipment in all our dosing and mixing systems – regardless of viscosity, mixing ratio or output quantities,’ says Udo Tartler, Managing Director of TARTLER. In terms of material technology, this means that the smart entry-level solution is suitable for machines that dose, mix and apply two liquid components, one liquid and one pasty component and two pasty components – covering almost all variants of modern synthetic resin processing. The standard version Nodopox 50 with Light-Eco-Control-System. 2 / 3 also includes two central functions of modern dosing and mixing technology: pot life monitoring and shot time control. ‘As an option, we can also equip the Light Eco with volume flow monitoring including an alarm signal,’ explains Udo Tartler.

Growing solution

The new Light Eco control unit is the result of close cooperation between the e-engineering specialists at ETP Walther, a subsidiary of the TARTLER
Group, and the engineers at the company’s own research, development and demonstration centre (F.E.D.). It is therefore not a purchased product from
an external source, but an in-house development that meets TARTLER‘s quality standards. ‘This also ensures that there are no interface problems and that the new Light Eco fits harmoniously into the overall modular concept of our systems. This also applies to our customer service,’ emphasizes Udo Tartler. By providing a lean, simplified and cost-effective controller variant for its 2K dosing, mixing and application systems, TARTLER offers new and inexperienced users in particular an ideal platform from which they can discover the opportunities of modern synthetic resin processing on an industrial scale. And as it is possible to replace the Light Eco with a full version at any time, the control system can grow with the user‘s qualifications and requirements.

"Our new Light Eco control unit can be integrated as basic equipment in all our dosing and mixing systems - regardless of viscosity, mixing ratio or output quantities."
