The German TARTLER Group is massively expanding the capacities of its companies

With investments totaling millions, the German TARTLER Group is currently significantly expanding the capacity of its two companies, ZT Odenwald and TARTLER India. While two new production halls for the machining of high-precision metal components are being built at the company’s headquarters in Michelstadt, the commissioning of a 500-square-meter building complex for the final assembly of dosing and mixing systems for synthetic resin processing is beginning in Ahmedabad, India.

Two new halls for ZT Odenwald are currently being built in the immediate vicinity of the TARTLER main plant in Michelstadt, in which several new turning and milling centers and highly automated, AI-supported production lines for the series production of high-precision metal components will soon be installed.

“The Indian market is currently showing growing interest in our standard machines, and especially after ISO 9001 certification, our subsidiary ZT Odenwald is experiencing increasing demand for precision components from EU customers. These growth impulses are prompting us to take action,” says Udo Tartler, Managing Owner of the TARTLER Group. Specifically, this means that two new halls, each with 460 square meters of usable space, are currently under construction for ZT Odenwald in the immediate vicinity of the main plant in Michelstadt. By mid-2026, several new turning and milling centers and highly automated, AI-supported production lines for the series production of high-precision metal components will be installed in these halls. The investment volume here is approximately €3.5 million. TARTLER India has already relocated from Vadodara to larger premises in Ahmedabad. From there, the company will supply the regional markets with fully assembled standard machines for resin processing. “As previous experience has shown, our activities in the Indo-Pacific region directly lead to capacity utilization and growth effects for the parent company and the other companies in the group,” explains Udo Tartler.

Manufacturing Excellence in Machining Technology

ZT Odenwald has made a name for itself, particularly in the production of complex components that must meet high demands for geometric accuracy. Founded eleven years ago as a member of the TARTLER Group, the company quickly established itself as a specialist for high-precision machined parts. Since then, it has become increasingly attractive to assembly and system manufacturers in the hydraulics, food processing, aerospace, and other industries. Certification according to DIN ISO 9001 was achieved in 2023, and this year several new lathes, a new mill-turn center with integrated automation, and a high-precision measuring system for micrometer-accurate tool presetting in parallel with machining time are being commissioned. ZT Odenwald’s current portfolio covers the design and manufacture of prototypes, pre-series production, and series parts made from all common metals. The focus to date has been on individual pieces and small to medium batch sizes. The company also provides laser marking services for many customers in the European mechanical engineering, plant engineering, and equipment manufacturing sectors. “In the new halls and with the new, highly automated production lines, the company will also be able to produce large series in the future,” reports Udo Tartler.

At TARTLER India’s new site in Ahmedabad, employees are currently beginning the final assembly of the first dosing and mixing machines for plastics processing.

Standard Solutions for India

To get closer to its customers in India in the automotive, electrical engineering, toolmaking, and wind energy sectors, TARTLER has been present with its dosing, mixing, and degassing systems for resin processing since 2022, with locations in Vadodara (Gujarat) and Chennai (Bay of Bengal). Building on long-standing customer relationships, TARTLER India initially focused on sales, service, and system configuration. With the recent move to larger premises in the Ahmedabad industrial park, the company is now also expanding its capacity for the final assembly of standard machines. “We will soon be supplying our growing customer base in the Indo-Pacific region with dosing and mixing systems from our Nodopur and Nodopox series, as well as the first TAVA F degassing and filling stations. However, all development, component, and parts manufacturing will remain in Germany,” says Udo Tartler.

TARTLER’s Nodopur series offers dosing and mixing systems for liquid and self-flowing components.

Focusing on Customer Added Value

As a manufacturer of dosing, mixing, and application systems, TARTLER distinguishes itself through a high degree of innovation and customer orientation. The company regularly introduces new solutions for modern synthetic resin processing and offers a growing range of services, from remote maintenance and spare parts supply to maintenance and retrofitting services, as well as Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), which is performed directly on-site at the customer’s premises during machine commissioning. “In all our developments, we always keep the added value for our customers in mind,” emphasizes Udo Tartler.

"Our activities in the Indo-Pacific region directly lead to capacity utilization and growth effects for the parent company and the other companies of the TARTLER Group."
