The German plant manufacturer TARTLER currently offers a wide range of modular system solutions for mixing, dosing, and applying liquid and pasty 1K and 2K synthetic resins. Depending on the model, these mostly highly automated machines and devices meet a wide variety of process engineering requirements for modern polyurethane, epoxy resin, and silicone processing. The company also maintains close expertise with leading material manufacturers and is a sought-after partner when it comes to implementing customer-oriented special and customized solutions for processing synthetic resins. “Since we have extensive experience in processing components with very large viscosity differences or in extreme mixing ratios, virtually no synthetic resin processing application is foreign to us,” says company CEO Udo Tartler.

To ensure highly precise, repeatable process control and to be optimally adapted to specific requirements, TARTLER systems feature integrated control systems of medium to high complexity. Some of these are truly expert systems designed for operation by highly qualified personnel. However, to make industrial-scale automated dosing and mixing technology accessible to startups, newcomers, and inexperienced resin users, TARTLER now also offers its systems with the highly simplified Light Eco control unit. It contains all the necessary basic functions, enables a cost-effective and rapid entry into automated resin processing, and requires no extensive training.

Smart solution for all systems

Thanks to the modular design of the TARTLER systems, all models in the Nodopur, Nodopox, and Tardosil series can be equipped with the Light Eco control system. “Regardless of factors such as viscosity, mixing ratio, or output volume, our entire range of machines is available to beginners right from the start,” emphasizes Udo Tartler. This simply means that the smart control system is suitable for systems that meter, mix, and apply either two liquid components, one liquid and one pasty component, or two pasty components – thus covering almost all currently relevant options for synthetic resin processing. In its basic version, the Light Eco control system from TARTLER includes pot life monitoring and shot time control, two central functions of industrial metering and mixing technology. It can also be optionally upgraded with volume flow monitoring, including a display of the mixing ratio and an alarm signal.

High-quality in-house development

The Light Eco control system is the result of a collaboration between the electrical and programming experts at ETP Walther, a subsidiary of the TARTLER Group, and the technicians at the company’s own Research, Development, and Demonstration Center (R.E.D.). This means that it is not a purchase from an external source, but rather an in-house development according to TARTLER’s quality standards. “This allows us to guarantee that no interface problems will arise and that the Light Eco is an integral part of our overall modular concept – including all services,” says Udo Tartler.
